My Drake II is 5 years old and it wants to keep running. I have to jiggle it 9 times out of 10. Crap sticks to it easily, bad pool size. I was a big Toto fan. Probably owned 9 in our family. Not sure I am going with a Toto next time.

I have a black Blanco composite granite sink and it looked chalky. I saw a couple of videos that suggested rubbing it down with cutting board oil or mineral oil or even vegetable oil on a paper towel, then letting it sit for a few minutes. Then just wipe the oil off with a soft cloth. My sink looks like new!

Thanks, Greg. Very helpful. I was trying to decide between kohler cimarron , highline arch and wellworth. I need a small toilet as my bathroom is tiny. Cimarron has the least depth. And the best flush? I was not thinking that cannister was a good thing (mostly you see just regular flappers sold in big box stores), but the 360 looks like maybe a better flush than highline arch? And the wellworth is the standard size, I guess, and costs more (Home Depot prices). So Cimarron the way to go? Toto entrada also possible, but HD does not seem to stock them-- I'm in CA and things have to be very low water (1.25 or less) or apparently they don't let the product in. Sheesh. Over and out and thank you so much. You make toilets interesting!

I live in Roswell NM. We have the hardest water in the country. Our water is used by water heater manufacturers to estimate the heater going out the day after the warranty. That being said, we keep our 3.5 gpr toilets and the flappers last several years, lol

I've seen some under mount sinks that get gross where the countertop and sink meet. Is one revel easier to keep clean than the other? This is something I had never considered until now.

I bought a 4 year old house and the polished chrome bathroom hardware had been badly marred because previous owner has been using an abrasive scouring pad to clean the faucets. So, I vote NO on barkeepers friend or any other cleaner that uses abrasives. I don’t know how messy people let their sink areas get, but it just seems like overkill to scrub/scour your faucet and put scratches on them. In my experience, you just need a microfiber cloth and a high quality ph balanced cleaning liquid solution and your faucets will be immaculate like the day you bought them. Worst case scenario hard water stains can usually be removed with a magic eraser sponge.

I have a friend who converted a PEX crimp tool into a PEX press tool by carefully filing off the end of the tool. Does anyone know of a video of somebody doing this? I asked my friend to share with me how he did it but he's not reliable on replying back in a timely manner.

Question! Have you ever seen a fridge/freezer combo that was side by side but the freezer was just as wide as the fridge? Often when my husband and I look at appliances, the freezer is a third the size as the fridge side and bending down to the freezer just makes my knees want to give out. Any recommendations? Also, do you recommend fridges that are flush behind a wall or is that more of a mold/mildew hazard than anything?

Yeah, that was not helpful. Read the manual you say. Well, the manual says not to use acid like citric or vinegar, no abrasives, etc. So how exactly are you supposed to remove lime scale from hard water. They just decided to say... you're on your own.

Pressure toilets are nasty. When you flush them they spray a vapor of filth from the bowl do to the jet like flush.

30 minute wait? Kinda defeats the purpose of a microwave, eh? 😂 This may sound harsh but, having a childless home, I really hate child-proof appliances. But, I guess this one at least gives you the option to bypass it (I wish they ALL did). Having worked for years in retail, I know you are right... the average consumer will be baffled and p!$$ed off that their brand new microwave won't open as it's holding their food hostage and they're getting hangrier and hangrier... Hopefully they have good customer service call centers.

I would've liked more info about the composite sinks. For the others, you mentioned whether they stain, chip, scratch, how hard it is to clean them, etc. Nothing on the composites.

Hey there! My husband and I are in the process of choosing countertops for our kitchen. In another video, you mentioned Lowe’s having some sensa granite on sale. It is back on sell. I like the Siberia. Have you seen that in a kitchen? Is another name for Sensa Siberia Pitaya? It gets confusing! The delicatus is pretty but is probably too busy for my small kitchen.

My plumber did our whole house with Uponor a with crimp rings. I want to add a water line and replace a couple shut offs. Can I use Pex B adapters and rings with Uponor a? I have the clear uponor pipe.
